AUDIO -- Major Donor Speaks on Leverage and Strategy

Picking up on yesterday's post about Herb and Marion Sandler who bring significant due diligence to their giving, I was reminded of Michael Cline who has invested $5 million in a strategy to save wild tigers. In preparing a presentation for representatives from several major Brooklyn cultural institutions, I was reminded of an interview I did with Michael on Venture Philanthropy 2.0.

In this brief audio excerpt, he deftly captures his approach to philanthropic leverage and scale as well as his belief that it is infinitely easier to engage new support by providing data suggesting that "if we stay on track, we really can get somewhere."
