ONE-MINUTE VIDEO OF YOU AT COF?
The Council of Foundations Conference now being held in Seattle is organized around four defining challenges of our time: poverty, health, environment and disaster preparedness.
PhilanthroMedia will be conducting video interviews Monday and Tuesday morning with conference participants in our role as information gatherers for discerning donors. (Our blog entries circulate via daily feed to 30 community foundation websites nationwide, a number that will grow to 70+ in the coming months.)
One-minute interviews will invite foundation leaders to speak to two questions:
-- What is a promising giving strategy you have heard of at the conference or used in your community to address one of these defining challenges?
-- Can you give an example of how that strategy is being used (either from what you heard from panelists or in your own community)?
This video is an attempt to provide donors who aren’t here, a quick sense of promising strategies. If you would agree to be interviewed, please pick up your cell phone RIGHT NOW and call Susan Herr at 917.756.6126. Or grab me when you see me in the halls with a pink shirt and big video camera.
