Nancy DeFauw

Nancy DeFauw is the owner of a consulting company, Practical Philanthropy Group, LLC, that specializes in designing and implementing practical operations and business strategies to improve philanthropy’s infrastructure. At Practical Philanthropy, DeFauw applies her experience in data-driven marketing and customer-relationship management strategy for financial services clients with her more recent experience building software to assist foundations with their grant-making.

DeFauw graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors in her fields of study, History and Economics, from Knox College. She served as an Alumni Trustee of the college and is active in fundraising for the institution. Nancy is also on the fundraising committee and an active volunteer for PAWS Chicago, Chicago's largest no-kill animal shelter and a Charity Navigator Hall of Fame organization.
