Chad Callaghan

Chad Callaghan, Special Projects Manager, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University in May of 2007 with a BA in Theatre Studies (acting and writing). At Yale, Callaghan was a staff columnist both for the Yale Daily News (the nation's oldest college daily), and Harlequin Magazine, Yale's journal for the performing arts. Prior to his tenure at PhilanthroMeida, Callaghan worked as an editorial associate for the Johnson-Roessler company in Los Angeles, developing socially-conscious, politically-relevant film and television. He spent the summer of 2007 doing community service, cycling 4,000 miles across the country from New Haven to Seattle to raise money and awareness for Habitat for Humanity. Callaghan currently contributes to the PhilanthroMedia blog and the Dialogue for Donors series, syndicated to 70 different community foundations nationwide. He also contributes freelance work to various publications in New York City.
